OUR VISION STATEMENT
The Central Valley Accessible Research and Computational Hub (CENVAL-ARC) envisions empowering researchers and students from underserved Hispanic-Serving Institutions in California’s Central Valley by providing cutting-edge computational resources and expertise. By integrating advanced technologies, fostering collaboration, and offering comprehensive training, CENVAL-ARC aims to lower barriers to high-performance computing, drive innovation, and build an inclusive community for groundbreaking research.

The University of California Merced invites you to attend the 2025 Central Valley Accessible Research and Computational Hub (CENVAL-ARC) Symposium, sponsored by the National Science Foundation’s Campus Cyberinfrastructure (CC*) program. The event will take place in person at UC Merced on March 7th, 2025, with a virtual program on March 10th, 2025. This symposium is designed to bring together researchers who require computational power beyond their laptops or local resources. All are welcome to join! Participants will include computational scientists from R2 and R1 institutions, as well as leaders from the research computing and data (RCD) community. To assist with our planning, please complete the interest form if you plan to attend. Feel free to share this invitation with colleagues. A finalized program and abstract submission details will be available on this site later this fall
